Who doesn't love performing their own concert in the shower? Using the shampoo bottle as a microphone, belting out heartbreaking ballads at the top of your lungs, leaving your mascara on so it runs down your face like you're singing in the rain in a dramatic music video... or is that last one just me?

Because we're not always just singing about wet wall... we've compiled a list of our top 5 hits for shower karaoke...

  1. Man in the Mirror- Michael Jackson

This absolute tune only reached number 21 in the UK Singles Chart in it's original release in 1988 but after Michael's death in 2009 it reached number 2 as fans downloaded the single in this memory.

Favourite lyric- "If you want to make the world a better place, take a look at yourself and make a change."

2. Always Find Me in the Kitchen at Parties- Jona Lewie

Entering the chart in 1980 this track spent 11 weeks there peaking at number 16. In live performances of the song Kirsty MacColl (of Fairytale of New York fame) would perform backing vocals.

Favourite lyric- "At last I met a pretty girl, she laughed and talked with me
We both walked out of the kitchen and danced in a new way."

3. Teardrops- Womack & Womack

Released originally in 1988 and peaking at number 3 in the UK Singles Chart. The song has since had over 10 recorded covered versions and was featured on the fictional "Vice City FM" in video game Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City in 2008.

Favourite lyric- "Footsteps on the dancefloor, reminds me baby of you..."

4. Dancing on the Ceiling- Lionel Ritchie

This anthem was released in 1986 and peaked at number 7 in the UK Singles Chart. Although the song was listed at number 20 in Blender Magazines "50 Worst Songs of All Time" in early 2000s Lionel's track is still a popular choice at 80s themed parties and bars.

5. On the Floor- Jennifer Lopez

Reaching number 1 in the UK Single Chart in 2011 this banger has now had over 1.1 billion views and has sold over 11 million copies, making it one of the best selling songs of all time.

Favourite lyric- "Let the rhythm change your world on the floor."

  1. Shout Out to my Ex- Little Mix

No-one in the world doesn't love Little Mix. Number 1 in the UK Singles Chart and British Single of the Year at the Brit Awards 2017... this tune is belting out at the top of your voice.

Favourite lyric- "I'm all the way up I swear you'll never, you'll never bring me down."
